No matter your role, you will help to provide a one-of-a-kind experience for our residents, guests, and staff.
Job Description
Summary: Performs cleaning tasks of resident rooms, offices, dining rooms, general areas, bathrooms, etc. to ensure the cleanliness of the facility.
Qualifications: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Must be able to follow instructions and directions. Must be able to use equipment needed to perform the duties.
Education: High School preferred
Licenses/Certifications: None required
Experience Required: Previous health care setting experience preferred
Essential Functions:
- Daily cleaning of resident rooms, including sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash, Dusting of all surfaces, cleaning restrooms
- Deep cleaning of rooms according to deep cleaning schedule
- Deep cleaning of rooms upon resident discharge to prepare room for availability
- Cleaning of office, nursing stations, dining rooms, guest restrooms, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, dusting, etc.
- Window washing per schedule
- Responsible for keeping all chemicals and cleaning agents properly labeled, in proper containers for resident safety and according to State and Federal regulations.
- Must attend all applicable In-service Education and staff meetings
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work in a busy environment
- Must be patient and use excellent customer service with residents, family members and visitors at all times.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all departments
