Missions

The Bell Person is responsible for delivering a personalized and unparalleled guest experience by providing exceptional arrival, departure, transportation, and beach services. As a key ambassador of the hotel, this role ensures every guest interaction reflects the highest standards of luxury, hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Profile

• Set up, maintain, and break down beach umbrellas, lounge chairs, and related amenities for guests, always ensuring a pristine and luxurious beach experience.
• Operate the property house car to provide safe, courteous, and timely transportation for guests while delivering exceptional service standards.
• Maintain the house car in immaculate condition and appearance to ensure it reflects the property's luxury brand image.
• Park vehicles for guests and other visitors who require valet parking, maintain the front driveway congestion-free through traffic control, monitoring illegal parking, and immediately store vehicles.
• Safely and efficiently transport guest luggage to and from their rooms, ensuring items are managed with care.
• Offer guests information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions. Answer inquiries and provide recommendations as needed in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Assist with delivering items such as room service orders, packages, or other guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring a high standard of service.
• Ensure the lobby and main entrance are clean and always organized. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Monitor the premises for any unusual activity and report concerns to management, ensuring the safety and security of guests and their belongings.
• Collaborate with front desk hoteliers and other departments to ensure a seamless guest service.
• Build rapport with guests, anticipating their needs and ensuring their comfort throughout their stay.
• Efficiently manage time to prioritize tasks and ensure timely service to our guests.
• Be sensitive and understanding of diverse cultures and backgrounds, enhancing guest interactions.
• Maintain high standards of Guest Services as established by the Managing Director.
• Actively demonstrate teamwork, safe work practices, open communication, respect, sincerity, helpfulness, courtesy and humility.
• Ensure that proper procedures for dealing with guest illness or injury, system failures, fire alarms, robbery, security incidents and other emergencies are followed. Report unsafe conditions, as appropriate.
• Build morale and spirit, interact positively with hoteliers and guests, and take action to resolve problems to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
• Ensure that personal appearance and hygiene standards are an example for the team and reflect a professional image for our guests.
• Creatively execute strategies and drive results; originate and invent new ways to create unparalleled experiences for our guests and team members.
  
  

What You Bring

• Minimum 2 years of previous work experience in a similar capacity within the luxury hospitality industry.
• Valid Florida driver’s license required. Ability to operate standard and automatic transmission.
• Fluent in English; other languages considered an asset.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand continuously and perform job functions during shift.
• Must be able to reach, stooping, kneeling, twisting, bending, balancing, lifting, pushing, pulling, and transporting various objects weighing up to 75 lbs. repeatedly during a shift.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
