Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. Duties

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly smile and provide attentive seating assistance as a host/host when needed
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage multiple tables with excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy hours
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety regulations
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations
• Support sanitation practices by following proper food handling procedures and ensuring compliance with health regulations
• Collaborate with team members to create a seamless dining experience in both fine dining settings and lively nightclub atmospheres

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant roles, preferably with fine dining or nightclub environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Excellent communication skills for effective guest interactions and teamwork
• Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
• Previous host/host or serving experience is beneficial for providing top-tier guest relations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 25 per week
