Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of industrial and commercial spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Conduct sanitation procedures in food processing and manufacturing areas to meet health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, machinery, floors, walls, and other surfaces in accordance with established protocols
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks during cleaning operations or when moving supplies and equipment
- Follow detailed cleaning schedules and document completed tasks for compliance purposes
- Operate janitorial equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and vacuums efficiently and safely
- Support custodial activities in warehouses, ensuring all areas are organized, sanitized, and hazard-free
- This is a 3rd shift position
Experience
- Prior experience in industrial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles preferred
- Familiarity with food production or manufacturing environments is highly advantageous
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety regulations related to food processing or warehouse settings
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively during cleaning or maintenance tasks
- Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers or pressure washers is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
