Security Professional (Nights)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and vigilant Security Professional (temporary) to uphold safety and security standards across our facilities. This role involves monitoring premises, managing access control, and responding swiftly to incidents to ensure a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises and identify potential security risks
• Control access points by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring only authorized individuals enter designated areas
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
• Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed
• Manage conflict situations using effective conflict management techniques while maintaining safety for all parties involved
• Perform first aid and CPR when necessary to assist injured individuals until professional help arrives
• Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and inspections for reporting and record-keeping purposes

Experience

• Previous experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable
• Training or certification in first aid and CPR is preferred
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and loss prevention strategies is advantageous
• Background in military or security services provides a strong foundation for this role
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts calmly and effectively in high-pressure situations
• Knowledge of security protocols, access control procedures, and emergency response plans is essential
