What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Caregiver position at The Villas At Marana?
Overview
Join our dedicated team as a Certified Caregiver. We are looking for Certified Caregiver for our overnights shift- 6p-6a, that meet the requirments per state regulations.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and maintain detailed medication records
- Provide specialized dementia and Alzheimer’s care to support memory care needs with patience and understanding
- Operate EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems to document care activities and health updates efficiently
- Support residents’ emotional well-being through social engagement, activity facilitation, and behavior management strategies
- Use assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts safely to prevent injury and promote comfort during transfers
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and organizing resident spaces
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to develop personalized care plans
Experience
- Prior experience in long-term care facilities such as nursing homes or retirement communities is required
- Demonstrated caregiving experience working with Memory Care
- Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia care techniques, and memory care best practices
- Hands-on experience assisting with ADLs and providing personal care in community settings
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation purposes is advantageous
- Certification in Memory Care, CPR/ First Aid and food handlers is required
- Finger Print Card and be able to pass APS / OIG background check

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
