The Villages of Farragut, a retirement community for independent seniors, is currently seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Housekeeper for our community in Farragut, TN. The housekeeper will ensure that the resident apartments and common areas are clean and well maintained. The job is mainly weekdays, but could occasionally include a weekend date as needed.
This position provides a work life balance with a day-shift schedule and no late-night hours. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs cleaning duties according to schedule in assigned areas such as resident apartments, common areas, and guest restrooms.
- Sweeps, dusts, dust mops, and wet mops floors; spot cleans and vacuums floors, rugs, carpets.
- Cleans, sanitizes, and polishes restrooms; stocks dispensers as necessary.
- Clean resident apartments, to include bathrooms fixtures, showers and tubs, kitchen area, countertops, and floors.
- Cleans and assists with apartment room turns.
- Helps maintain equipment needed to perform work in a clean and orderly condition.
- Collects trash and refuse from work areas and places in designated pickup areas.
- Ensures cleaning chemicals are kept stored and locked when not in use.
- Ensures any cords, carts, equipment and other hazards are kept out of the way at all times, not blocking exits and in compliance with fire codes.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Assist in cleaning apartments undergoing room turn/renovation.
Requirements:
- High School education or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 25 lbs. independently.
- Possess the ability to bend, stoop and reach at different angles.
- May stand on feet for long periods of time.
Pay Rate: $15-$16 hourly based on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
