What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper - Welcome Center position at The Villages of Citrus Hills?
The Villages of Citrus Hills is seeking responsible and experienced Housekeepers to join our team. We are seeking individuals and/or teams to assist with cleaning and maintenance of our beautiful Model Homes and Welcome Center.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, common areas, and office spaces.
- Ensure model homes are spotless, welcoming, and presentation-ready for daily tours.
- Ensure client villas are refreshed and ready for the next check-in.
- Replenish supplies as needed and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical cleaning tasks.
- Must have clean driving record and be able to pass a background check.
- Must have reliable transportation as this job requires traveling in the community.
- Must have valid Driver’s License.
· The job requires standing on your feet and being physically active for most of the shift.
- Must live within a commutable distance to Citrus County.
