**Job Summary**
The Resident Care Associate (RCA) provides general non-certified routine services in accordance with established procedures and may be directed by supervisors.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assists with housekeeping and laundry services, including trash removal and making and changing unoccupied beds.
- Assists with meal service, including transportation of residents to and from dining rooms, tray delivery, and ensuring a great dining experience.
- Answers resident call lights promptly.
- Ensures frequent checks on residents unable to call for help.
- Assists with 1:1 observations as assigned.
- Maintains communication with Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse to report resident changes in condition, concerns, and grievances.
- Provides great customer service, companionship, communication, and engagement in activities.
- Assists clinical staff to make residents comfortable.
- Assists with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines.
