Staff Pharmacist – The Village Pharmacy
We are hiring a full time Staff Pharmacist for our Bloomfield Hills Locaiton. The Village Pharmacy is an independent, community-focused pharmacy group focused on personal relationships, excellent service, patient care, and responsible growth.
We are looking for a pharmacist who provides attentive care, supports an efficient workflow, takes initiative, and works well within a team.
Role Responsibilities
- Process prescriptions accurately while following federal, state, and company requirements.
- Provide patient counseling, medication therapy management, immunizations, and other clinical services.
- Support daily pharmacy workflow, including prescription verification, problem resolution, patient follow-up, and prescriber coordination.
- Build positive relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and community partners.
- Assist with inventory management, purchasing, expiration monitoring, and cost controls.
- Guide and support pharmacy technicians during daily workflow.
- Participate in community outreach, health events, and pharmacy service initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve patient service, workflow, and pharmacy growth.
Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist in Michigan or eligible for Michigan licensure.
- Community or retail pharmacy experience required.
- Strong patient care, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of pharmacy workflow, reimbursement, inventory, and regulatory requirements.
- Comfortable working independently while supporting a team-based environment.
- Dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative.
- Immunization certification.
Schedule
- Three weekdays per week.
- Rotating weekends, including Saturday and Sunday
