Director of Admissions and Marketing
Assisted Living/Memory Care/Independent Living- Green campus 3813 Fortuna Drive, Green-Uniontown (Ohio)

Summary:
In accordance with the mission and values of The Village of St. Edward and under the general supervision of the Chief Marketing Officer, the Director of Admissions and Marketing is responsible for coordinating the admissions and sales process including marketing of the campus assigned as part of the strategic marketing plan of The Village.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
- Sales and Marketing experience required
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical public health settings, working knowledge of social and health resources in community preferred.
- Knowledgeable of principles of growth and development for the entire life span with the ability to provide care appropriate for the adult and geriatric residents is preferred
- Imagination and creative ability, sympathetic approach to illness, spirit of cooperation and pleasant personality.
- Must be able to exercise independent judgment where procedures cannot be standardized.
- Must possess strong organization and verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media avenues required
- Working knowledge of PCC and Marketing software preferred
- Must work objectively and compassionately with residents, families and public on personal basis.
- Demonstrates effective communication & problem-solving skills.
- Ability to see, communicate, hear and utilize electronic communication devices.
- Moderate travel and flexible availability for marketing events (nights, weekends)
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 10 lbs.
- Valid Ohio Driver's License in good standing.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Duties and Responsibilities (Not an all-inclusive list):
- Assists in development and execution of the campus marketing plan including establishing contacts with community resources and professional referrals, planning and coordination of marketing events, and overall generation of sales leads.
- Maintains contact and follow-up with potential residents and/or responsible parties through appropriate management of the CRM marketing database.
- Conducts tours and corresponds/interacts as appropriate with families/residents interested in placement.
- Assures that the admission and sales process runs smoothly resulting in census goals being met.
- Daily reports to administration on the function of the department.
- Recognizes and addresses problems from customers and assists in finding solutions.
- Performs, at minimum, weekly CRM audit to ensure all leads, activities, new information, and follow ups are scheduled and in place.
- Work closely with maintenance and housekeeping to ensure acceptable apartment readiness.
- Keeps close contact with resident/families when transferred temporarily to local hospital or other facilities.
- Collaborate with local physicians to obtain needed orders for admission.
- Assures financial application is approved by fiscal department.
- When notified by either resident or family those resident funds are diminishing and in need of applying for Medicaid, Director will notify Fiscal Services.
- Provide family/resident appropriate resources for completing application for Medicaid.
- Assures completion of all necessary admissions paperwork as required through document manager PCC program or by hand if needed.
- Schedules and participates in family meetings including plan of care meetings as needed and provides direction to residents/families with problems/concerns.
- Works closely with sister communities on marketing events and sales planning/strategies.
- Stays current and advises administration of current legislation, trends and resources related to admissions.
- Maintains current knowledge of outside agencies and resources to assist residents
