About The Program
This role supports the IICAPS model, providing intensive home?based services to children at risk of psychiatric hospitalization. Services include individual and family therapy, parenting skills training, 24/7 crisis support, case management, and advocacy.
You will work as part of a two?person team (Clinician Mental Health Counselor) and collaborate closely with DCF, schools, community providers, and psychiatric partners. Staff participate in weekly Rounds, group supervision, and maintain documentation aligned with licensing, Medicaid, accreditation, and Yale model requirements.
The goal: stabilize the child in the home, strengthen family functioning, and support transition to traditional outpatient care.

- Starting Salary: $46,200
- Bilingual (Spanish) Salary: $48,300

- Accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Active participation in team meetings, supervision, and agency initiatives
- Community representation
Required Education
- BA in Human Services or BSW required
- 3 years' experience in human services preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Cultural competency and experience with inner?city youth
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Commitment to Performance?Based Accountability
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
