KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver a consistently high level of guest service.
- Give unobtrusive, knowledgeable, and genuine service to every guest, every time.
- Display a warm, personalized, and caring welcome by greeting our guests upon arrival to their table.
- Present menus, answer questions, and make personalized suggestions.
- Partner with team members to serve beverages that meet or exceed guests’ expectations.
- Communicate with guests to ensure their satisfaction and collect additional feedback and insights.
- Respond to additional guests requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process.
- Clean and set up the dining areas for the following service.
- Refill/restock service areas according to the departments’ standards.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by leader.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or related preferred.
- Minimum 1 years experience in casual or upscale restaurant required.
- Current TABC and Food Handler’s certification.
- Exhibit food, wine, and beverage knowledge.
- Team oriented.
- Knowledge of POS systems.
- Organized and detail oriented with the ability to be flexible.
- Operate with passion, integrity, and respect for both internal team members and external guests.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
- Exposure to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezers), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit.
