Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards in English Language Arts.

- Incorporate learning technology into lessons to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Conduct assessments, including standardized testing, to evaluate student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
- Mentor students through tutoring sessions, fostering their literacy skills and overall academic performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and early intervention strategies to support diverse learners.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education administration and teaching methodologies.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; certification in NJ Elementary Education preferred.
- Proven experience working with students in an elementary setting, including classroom experience and childcare.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in proofreading, writing skills, lesson planning, and behavior management strategies.
