What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at The Village At Skyline Pines?
Responsible for the proper operation and interior and exterior maintenance of all aspects of the physical building, equipment, mechanical systems and grounds.
Accountable to monitor the performance of each operational system in the facility, and perform maintenance or schedule maintenance and/or testing as needed.
Be a main point of contact for any maintenance related issues that arise.
Assist in training of staff in fire safety, and operating various systems within the facility.
Participate in all required training, orientation, meetings and programs offered by employer.
Assist in transporting residents to appointments as necessary. A valid drivers license is required.
General maintenance of the following:
H.V.A.C. Equipment Breaker switch Control Equipment Repair
Elevator Equipment, Electrical Maintenance, Central Alarm System
Lighting Equipment Trash Control Fire Equipment
Maintenance Equipment, Controlling Sprinkler System, various other control systems throughout facility.
Operational maintenance of the following:
Lock Changing, Room Painting, Asst. resident’s w/picture hanging
Resident Appliances, Furniture Maintenance, Carpet Cleaning,
Formica and Countertops, Laundry Equipment, Water Heaters,
Parking Lots, Door Hanging, Common Area Maintenance,
Light Bulb Replacement, Drapery, Snow Removal,
Resident Smoke Detector Maintenance, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
