We are now seeking an Activities Assistant to join our team Hours/Days are: Every Monday/Wednesday 5-8:30pm and every Sunday 10a-3p (12 hours per week).
What you'll do:
- Conducting scheduled group activities including set up and take down.
- Assist in the dining room during meal service and with scheduled snacks.
- Provide 1:1 for residents that are not group activities participants.
- Assist with special events and outings during shift.
What you'll bring:
- Prior experience in programs for seniors and/or senior services.
- Experience with seniors and/or seniors with dementia a plus.
- Ability to interact with in a positive, empathetic manner with seniors, their families, referral sources and the community.
