Summary:
By adhering to The Village, Management Staff Philosophy, Vision and Mission Statements, the cook will be responsible for daily preparation of meals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:
- Follows recipes to ensure food production meets required time schedules.
- Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
- Following recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes.
- Handle and store ingredients and food.
- Maintain Food Safety and sanitation standards.
- Clean and Sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils.
- Assist in Monitoring inventory levels
- Ensures that food is stored, marked, dated and covered correctly following FIFO methods.
- Adheres to All Facility rules and regulations to promote a safe environment for residents and staff. Ensures that kitchen is maintained in a safe and sanitary.
- Performance aligns with the Company Mission, Values and Goals at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
Requirements:
Experience as a cook required
Food handlers card must be obtained 1 week after employment
Salary : $18 - $19
