Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, proficiency with POS systems such as Square, and a solid background in food and beverage service. This role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, mixing drinks, and ensuring an exceptional experience in both fine dining and nightlife settings. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent time management, multitasking abilities, and a thorough understanding of TABC rules and regulations.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes and guest preferences
- Operate POS systems including Square for order processing and cash handling, as well as a separate reservations system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with TABC regulations
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable experience
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods, demonstrating strong time management skills
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory control
- Handle cash transactions accurately and balance registers at the end of shifts
- Uphold all safety standards related to alcohol service and workplace safety regulations
- Assist in setting up for events as required
- Check patrons in and out of their virtual golf bay reservations
- Assist patrons in setting up their virtual golf system at the beginning of every reservation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments; hospitality or food industry background preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales tracking, and retail math calculations
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations
- Previous experience in catering or banquet service is advantageous
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or special events as needed
