Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for fine dining and a strong background in food safety and preparation. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, menu development, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.

Duties

  • Lead and manage the kitchen staff, ensuring a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to diverse dietary needs.
  • Oversee food preparation processes to ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain inventory control by managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary requirements for guests.
  • Monitor kitchen operations to ensure quality control and consistency in all dishes served.
  • Assist with bartending duties as needed, ensuring a seamless service experience for guests.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a fine dining establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Experience in inventory management and control processes within a culinary setting.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred; additional certifications in food safety are a plus.
  • Familiarity with various cooking techniques, cuisines, and presentation styles.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
