Qualifications: High school graduate. Previous training and experience in basic principles of mechanics, electricity, plumbing, hardware, and landscaping preferred. Must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to operate common machines, hand tools, and equipment. Minimum two years experience in an assisted living community or a similar position. Ability to read, write, and follow written directions. Experience in dealing with elderly and their needs and requests. Supervisory experience required. Ability to work well with others. Must be well organized with time, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. Must possess consistent initiative, good judgment, and leadership ability.Job Purpose: To insure the overall care of the community maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry programs.Essential Functions:Assure the community and grounds are repaired and maintained in proper working order.Job Requirements
