- Schedule: Open availability with hours varying between Monday through Thursday 7:30am and 8:00pm and Fridays 7:30am to 5pm. No Weekends!!

We are seeking a friendly and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our front desk team.
Position Summary
The Veterinary Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients and plays a key role in creating a positive experience. This position manages scheduling, client communication, and financial transactions while supporting the medical team’s workflow in a fast-paced, multi-doctor hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and patients warmly and professionally
- Answer multi-line phones and respond to client inquiries
- Schedule appointments and manage daily appointment flow for a 6-doctor practice
- Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Verify and update client and patient information
- Provide basic client education
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks and team support as needed
- Reception work as needed for coverage
Qualifications
- Previous veterinary reception or medical office experience preferred but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced
- Comfortable handling sensitive client situations with empathy
- Proficient with computers and practice management software
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Team player with a positive, professional attitude
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in an environment with animals, noise, and occasional odors
