Qualification Needed
- Veterinary degree (DVM or VMD) and completion of a rotating internship
- Completion of an approved residency program in small animal surgery
- Board certification, or eligibility, in small animal surgery
- Strong track record of handling complex surgical and referral cases
- Comfort working in a high-acuity environment alongside multiple services
- Excellent communication skills with both referring veterinarians and pet owners
- Commitment to collaborative, team-based care and continuous service improvement
- Genuine interest in teaching and mentoring within a specialty hospital environment
- Established referral caseload with scope to further grow surgical services
