Job Description: Our client is seeking a motivated Mixed Equine GP / Small Animal Veterinarian to support both daytime equine general practice and small animal emergency caseloads within a fully equipped 24-hour hospital. This is a unique hybrid position ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day and wants to help rebuild and grow the equine arm of the service while still gaining exposure to small animal emergency medicine. The role offers a flexible structure, with caseload tailored to your preferences, ranging from predominantly equine to a balanced mixed schedule.
Working alongside a supportive team, you will have access to experienced colleagues, a well-equipped facility, and an equine-trained veterinary assistant for farm calls. You will be involved in routine equine fieldwork, urgent care, small animal emergency cases (daytime only unless optional), and ongoing case discussions with the clinical team. This position suits someone who values a team-oriented, friendly work culture and enjoys building client relationships across both species.
