What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Associate-Bakery position at The Vermont Country Store?
There’s something special about the joy of baking and sharing good food with others. As a full-time Baker in our team, you’ll help create a variety of delicious products—crackers, cookies, cakes, pancake mixes, and more—in our vibrant bakery.
Whether you’re full of energy and eager to break into the food processing industry or bring a few years of commercial baking experience with you, we’d love to meet you. The Baker will follow a set weekly production schedule and help maintain the high quality our customers expect.
Previous experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person with a great attitude and a passion for baking! We are recruiting for bot full time and part time roles!
Where We Are
- This role will be performed in person in our Distribution Center located at 401 Innovation Drive, North Clarendon, Vermont.

Areas Where You May Assist
- Firing of the oven and getting the machinery ready for the day’s production.
- Preparing dough using established formulation and procedure.
- Adhering to food safety and handling regulations
- Daily cleaning of work area according to sanitation standards.
- Assisting with maintenance and upkeep of all production machinery and related items.
