Duties
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for each event, providing expert guidance on event marketing and planning strategies
- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics including venue selection, catering arrangements, entertainment, décor, and technical support
- Negotiate contracts with vendors such as caterers, decorators, entertainment providers, and venue managers to secure the best terms and quality services
- Manage event budgets meticulously, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high standards of quality and guest satisfaction
- Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all elements are executed flawlessly according to plan
- Upsell additional services or upgrades to enhance client experiences and maximize revenue opportunities
- Maintain excellent communication with clients, vendors, and team members throughout the planning process to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience in event planning or management within hospitality settings such as restaurants, hotels, or banquet facilities
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contracts and vendor agreements
- Knowledge of event marketing techniques to promote events effectively and attract attendees
