About the RoleThe Venture Center and Little Rock Technology Park are seeking a relationship-driven, organized, and resourceful professional to strengthen engagement across both organizations.
The Membership & Engagement Manager will be responsible for growing Venture Center membership, supporting Tech Park tenant attraction and retention, and creating a strong experience for the members and businesses connected to our ecosystem.
This role serves as a primary point of contact for members, tenants, mentors, and community partners—understanding their needs, connecting them to relevant resources and relationships, and ensuring consistent follow-through.
The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities, facilitating conversations and events, and helping people and businesses become more connected to the resources around them.
- Manage the Venture Center membership experience from onboarding through engagement, renewal, and retention.
- Build relationships with prospective and current members and Tech Park tenants.
- Support Tech Park tenant attraction through outreach, prospect follow-up, tours, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management.
- Conduct regular member and tenant check-ins to understand needs, opportunities, and challenges.
- Connect members and tenants with relevant programs, mentors, partners, service providers, and community resources.
- Follow up on introductions and referrals to ensure connections lead to meaningful outcomes.
- Maintain accurate membership, tenant, prospect, and engagement records and use data to support reporting and growth.
- Create and lead opportunities that connect members, tenants, mentors, partners, and the broader entrepreneurial community.
- Plan and facilitate recurring activities such as Coffee & Connect, member events, tenant gatherings, founder conversations, and networking opportunities.
- Support participation in Venture Center programs, Tech Park activities, and partner initiatives.
- Gather feedback and identify opportunities to strengthen the member and tenant experience.
- Serve as a connector and liaison between members, tenants, mentors, partners, and organizational leadership.
- Recruit, onboard, and maintain relationships with Venture Center mentors.
- Match mentors and other resources to member and tenant needs.
- Coordinate mentorship events, introductions, and follow-up.
- Build relationships with entrepreneurial support organizations, universities, corporations, professional service providers, economic-development organizations, and other community partners.
- Maintain knowledge of ecosystem resources so members and tenants can be connected to the right support.
- Identify stories and opportunities that showcase members, tenants, mentors, partners, programs, and community impact.
- Develop short-form content for social media, websites, member communications, and other community channels.
- Support regular Tech Park communications and social media engagement.
- Support Tech Park website content and ongoing updates.
- Collaborate with Venture Center and Tech Park leadership and marketing partners to maintain a consistent story across communications, tours, presentations, and community engagement.
- Manage multiple relationships, projects, events, and follow-ups simultaneously.
- Coordinate logistics, scheduling, communications, and follow-up for membership, tenant, mentorship, and engagement activities.
- Maintain clear documentation and repeatable processes for recurring activities.
- Provide regular reporting on membership, tenant engagement, mentorship, and related priorities.
- Collaborate across Venture Center and Tech Park teams to ensure activities reflect the needs of members and tenants.
- Use AI and other digital tools appropriately to support research, communication, documentation, and productivity.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, entrepreneurship, organizational leadership, community development, public administration, nonprofit management, or a related field.
- 5 years of relevant experience in account management, customer success, community engagement, membership, partnerships, program management, client services, entrepreneurship support, economic development, or a related field.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills with demonstrated follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple relationships, priorities, and deadlines.
- Experience planning and facilitating meetings, programs, or events.
- Comfortable using Google Workspace, Asana, social media, event platforms, and other business technologies.
- Comfortable learning and using AI tools responsibly.
- Willingness to work occasional evening events.
- Experience working with startups, entrepreneurs, founders, or small businesses.
- Experience in an entrepreneurial support organization, accelerator, incubator, innovation ecosystem, economic-development organization, or similar environment.
- Experience in membership, account management, customer success, or tenant relations.
- Experience with community engagement, facilitation, workshop leadership, or networking programs.
