About the Job: We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. IT Systems Engineer to serve as key personnel supporting a high-visibility Federal Government program.
Scope: The IT Systems Engineer lead will provide support to the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC). This position to manage and improve enterprise IT systems across on-prem and Microsoft cloud environments.
Duties include support of:
- Manage Windows/Linux servers
- VMware administration
- Azure / Entra ID administration
- M365 tenant administration
- Conditional Access / MFA
- Patch management
- Vulnerability remediation
- STIG hardening
- Backup / disaster recovery planning
- Network troubleshooting (LAN/Wireless/Cisco)
- Firmware / hardware lifecycle support
- Documentation and SOP creation
Required Skills:
Experience with the following:
- Strong Microsoft stack experience
- Azure / Entra / M365 experience
- Windows Linux administration
- VMware experience
- PowerShell scripting
Minimum Education/Experience:
- 6 years of work experience with Cybersecurity
