Position Overview

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform various accounting functions including analysis of balance sheet accounts and operating department income statements, preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Lead and mentor accounting staff in accordance with company standards and guidelines.
- Prepare and review general ledger journal entries to account for transactions posted to the general ledger.
- Reconcile and review balance sheet accounts.
- Review profit and loss statements with assigned operating departments.
- Prepare and review reports that summarize company business activities and financial positions in areas of income, expenses, and earnings, based on past, present, and expected operations.
- Interpret the meaning of accounting records, reports and accounting data to show the effects of proposed plans on Investments, income, cash position and overall financial condition.
- Assist with Financial System administrative tasks.
- Draft memos to Shared Services management on accounting related issues.
- Prepare and review general ledger journal entries to account for transactions posted to the general ledger.
- Follow internal accounting policies and GAAP.
- Administer the company chart of accounts and financial reports.

Minimum Qualifications

- 21 years of age.
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
- 5-8 years of previous accounting experience, with 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience required.
- Previous experience in the gaming and hospitality industry or public accounting preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Gaming Control Board registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to

- Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
