Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist them in selecting beers, beverages, and related food items with enthusiasm and expertise
- Operate POS systems such as Toast to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Serve drinks responsibly while adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic retail math to ensure precise transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and checking expiration dates
- Engage with customers to promote specials, new brews, or upcoming events to boost sales
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures during serving
- Collaborate with team members during busy nights at nightclubs or banquet events to deliver seamless service
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service, retail math, or hospitality roles; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast for efficient transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy shifts
- Knowledge of brewing processes, beer varieties, and beverage pairings is highly desirable
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with local laws and regulations
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory management
- Experience in catering, banquet service, or food industry roles is beneficial
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one prior to employment is preferred
