Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising daily kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and quality control procedures
- Lead food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency across all menu items
- Manage inventory control and stock levels to minimize waste and optimize food costs
- Oversee dietary department activities, ensuring special dietary needs are met with precision and care
- Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely and flawless execution
- Support team management by mentoring kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment, and facilitating shift management
- Maintain strict hygiene standards and proper food handling practices throughout all kitchen activities
Experience
- Proven experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in food production and culinary arts
- Supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting, with demonstrated leadership skills
- Extensive banquet experience, including event setup, service coordination, and large-scale food preparation
- Knowledge of inventory management, food safety regulations, and kitchen management best practices
- Familiarity with menu planning, catering operations, and restaurant service management
- Hands-on cooking skills complemented by experience in food handling, bartending, and hospitality operations
- Previous roles involving team supervision, shift management, and overseeing dietary departments are highly desirable
