The Vashti Center is seeking a Residential Program Director to provide leadership for our residential program serving adolescents. The Residential Program Director will join a committed team and serve as an important role in supporting children and youth as they heal, grow, develop life skills, and work toward a bright future.
For more than 120 years, Vashti has served children, youth, and families across Southwest Georgia. Our residential program provides young people with a safe place to live while they receive care, build skills, continue their education, and work toward their individual goals.
The Residential Program Director will lead the daily operation of the program and support a residential environment that is safe, structured, nurturing, and responsive to the needs of each resident.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human services, education, or a related field;
- Experience working with children or adolescents in a residential, behavioral health, child welfare, juvenile justice, education, or related setting;
- Experience providing supervision, leadership, or coordination of staff;
- Knowledge of adolescent development and trauma-informed care;
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to meet applicable background check, health, training, and certification requirements; and
- Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, staff, referral sources, and community partners.
- Experience working in a residential program serving adolescents, experience with DJJ-involved youth, and familiarity with RBWO requirements are preferred.
Position: Full-Time
Location: Thomasville, Georgia
Compensation: Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience with benefits available to eligible employees.
