We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager to lead and coordinate technical projects across data engineering, data modeling, and data warehousing environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data platforms, ETL processes, and database systems, combined with excellent project management skills. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality technical solutions, and collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders. - 7 years of experience in managing technical projects within data engineering, data modeling, or data warehousing environments
- Strong hands-on technical background with expertise in RDBMS, NoSQL, data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL processes
- Experience with data platform migrations, including transitioning from on-premise to cloud-based solutions like AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or similar technologies
- Proven experience working with metadata management, data modeling tools (Erwin, ER Studio, etc.), and database design principles
- Proficiency in performance tuning for data pipelines, databases, and application queries
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall) and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data platforms, ETL pipelines, and SQL/PL-SQL scripts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Cloud for data management and migration projects
- Relevant certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or technical certifications in data platforms or ETL tools
- Someone who can bridge the gap between technical teams & business stakeholders, ensuring successful delivery of complex data projects while maintaining high standards of quality, performance, and efficiency
