Senior Business Analyst / Data Analyst

to join our Data & Analytics team. This role will support strategic initiatives by delivering insightful data analysis, business intelligence, and process improvement recommendations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the financial services industry with a strong understanding of data structures, reporting tools, and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to gather and define business requirements and data needs
• Translate business problems into analytical solutions through data modeling and visualization
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView
• Analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, or R to extract meaningful insights and identify trends
• Create and maintain documentation including process flows, business requirements, and technical specifications
• Support data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Conduct impact analysis for system changes, new product implementations, and process redesigns
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and actionable manner
• Work with data engineers to ensure integration of business logic into ETL pipelines and data warehouses
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst, preferably in the banking or financial services sector
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau)
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is a plus
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting, risk analytics, or retail banking products (preferred)
