Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our property. Duties
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, floor care, and general maintenance.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high performance levels.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens, ensuring cost-effective usage.
- Coordinate with other departments such as maintenance and front desk to address guest needs promptly.
- Enforce health and safety regulations related to industrial cleaning, janitorial practices, and custodial procedures.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns related to cleanliness with professionalism and promptness.
- Maintain detailed records of housekeeping activities, staff schedules, and supply orders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning operations within hospitality or industrial settings.
- Strong background in hotel experience, janitorial work, custodial services, or industrial cleaning is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in housekeeper management, floor care techniques, and overall housekeeping procedures.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and workplace safety standards.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
