The Valley Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Certified Veterinary Assistant to join our fast-paced, three-doctor practice in Rifle, CO. This is an excellent opportunity for both registered and experienced unregistered technicians who are passionate about high-quality patient care and want to grow in a supportive, team-oriented environment. We are open to part time and full time applicants!
What You'll Do:

Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams, procedures, and treatments.
*
Draw vaccines, collect lab samples, run diagnostic tests, and perform radiographs with accuracy and care.
*
Clean, disinfect, and maintain cages, equipment and work areas.
*
Support dental procedures including scaling and polishing, and assist with surgical preparation and patient recovery.
*
Maintain accurate medical records, ensure treatment areas are clean and organized, and provide compassionate care to patients and their owners.
*
Work collaboratively with a skilled team to keep the hospital running smoothly and efficiently.
What We're Looking For:
*
Veterinary technician experience required; RVT/CVT/LVT/CVA credential is a plus but not required.
*
Solid technical skills and a desire to learn and grow.
*
Excellent communication, attention to detail, and a team-focused mindset.
*
A compassionate and professional approach to both patients and clients.
Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Range: $16-$20 per hour, depending on experience and credentials.
*
