On Camera Content Creator (Video Production and Editing)
Location: Remote base, Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley area (travel to client sites required)
Type: Contract, paid monthly
We are a social media content agency working with small and large businesses across the San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles. We are looking for an on camera content creator who can carry a shoot from idea to finished video. You bring the personality, the presence, and the editing skills. We handle posting and distribution, so your focus stays on creating great content.
What you will do
- Show up on camera as the face and voice of the content, or shoot the client and their team when the concept calls for it. The mix depends on the shoot.
- Travel to assigned businesses across the area, roughly one to three times a month per account, to capture footage on location.
- Curate and pitch content ideas that fit each business and its audience.
- Edit your own videos and bring them all the way to a finished, ready to deliver state.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stay responsive once you have met with them.
- Adapt your style across very different kinds of businesses, from retail to services to specialty shops.
What we are looking for
- Natural presence and personality on camera, with clear speaking and communication skills.
- Solid video editing ability. You can take raw footage and turn it into polished, scroll stopping content.
- A strong sense of current social media trends and what performs across platforms.
- Versatility and comfort walking into any type of business and making people feel at ease.
- Reliability, professionalism, and good instincts for client relationships.
- Your own gear is a plus, though not a strict requirement. Tell us what you shoot and edit with.
Compensation and growth
This role is paid per business, on a monthly basis. Compensation is a percentage of the account, so your earnings grow with the size and number of businesses you handle. As you sharpen your skills and prove yourself, you get moved onto larger accounts and earn more.
