Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral care team. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health and behavioral assessments utilizing diagnostic tools such as ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems to inform treatment planning.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis tailored to each client’s needs.
• Provide crisis management and intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies or trauma, including PTSD care and crisis management protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive case management plans that incorporate medical social work principles, patient care standards, and community resources.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, medical terminology standards, and electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems for seamless data collection and research purposes.
• Engage in clinical research activities related to behavioral health interventions, addiction counseling, autism spectrum disorders, and developmental disabilities to advance evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate intake assessments for new clients while ensuring adherence to confidentiality policies and medical documentation standards across diverse cultural backgrounds.

Requirements

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
• Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities such as autism or disabilities; hospital experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mental health interventions including psychopharmacology, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and psychiatric patient care protocols.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical documentation standards within EMR/EHR systems while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Ability to perform comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations using appropriate tools for diverse populations.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction, case management coordination, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders or behavioral health conditions such as PTSD or Alzheimer's care is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques, medical terminology related to mental health care, and evidence-based practices like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or psychodynamic therapy.

Pay: $43.00 - $47.00 per hour
