The Valley Health System has expanded into an integrated health network that serves more than two million people in Southern Nevada. Starting with Valley Hospital Medical Center in 1979, the Valley Health System has grown to include Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center , Henderson Hospital, Valley Health Specialty Hospital and West Henderson Hospital.

Qualifications
MLT(ASCP) or equivalent as defined by CLIA’88
Experience
Two (2) years of experience as Medical Laboratory Technician.
Technical Skills
General bench tech skills required to provide coverage in all modalities
License/Certification
Nevada State Licensure as Medical Laboratory Technician; ASCP or equivalent board registration upon hire preffered.New graduates, or applicants that do not currently have a Nevada license, must obtain a Nevada State Provisional license prior to hire and must obtain a permanent license upon expiration of the provisional license.
Other
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide high quality of patient
care appropriately (specific age competent). Must possess appropriate people skills,
organization and attention to detail. Must desire to act as a resource.
