Overview

Urology Associates of Central Missouri is the most comprehensive private urology practice in central Missouri. We are looking for a Clinical Services, Team Lead to join our team! Our goal is to provide the highest level of care, utilizing the latest, clinically proven techniques to diagnosis and treat a wide variety of urological disorders in men and women. Looking for an experienced team leader with experience in leading a clinical team, an energetic individual that is able to multitask and provide excellent patient care. Full Time / 40 hours per week (M-F, 8-4:30)

Urology Associates of Central MO is a division of Missouri Cancer Associates and affiliated with the US Oncology Network!

Scope

Under direct supervision, assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment. Promotes efficient patient flow and patient care, i.e., exams, and procedures. Performs clinic support tasks including miscellaneous clerical tasks. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Role And Responsibilities

Operational Oversight

  • Manage and oversee daily clinical operations to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Prepare provider scheduling templates to optimize clinical flow.
  • Ensure adequate staffing to maintain daily schedules and utilization of clinical lanes.
  • Identify and coordinate maintenance of clinical equipment and purchasing of supplies.

Compliance & Standards

  • Assist the manager in developing standards and protocols to ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures.

Staff Development & Training

  • Evaluate technician skill levels through objective and subjective assessments; recommend additional training as needed.
  • Plan and develop comprehensive clinical education and development programs for staff.
  • Perform duties as a senior-level clinical technician when required.

Administrative Duties

  • Ensure accurate timekeeping for payroll.
  • Serve as a resource for staff regarding clinical requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline required (or equivalent experience in lieu of education).

Certifications

  • LPN

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of diverse clinical experience required, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated experience in staff selection, training, and performance evaluation.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.
  • Strong planning, delegation, and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to establish department goals aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.

Computer Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to learn and become proficient with practice management systems and EMR within 4 weeks of hire.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Office environment with controlled atmosphere; possible exposure to communicable diseases and bloodborne pathogens.
  • Vision requirements: near, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception.
  • Normal hearing range required.
  • Ability to wear PPE (gloves, face mask, eye shield, gown).
