Overview

The US Oncology Network is looking for a Remote Healthcare Senior Change Management Specialist to join our team at Texas Oncology. This position will support Texas Oncology locations. Some travel may be necessary, up to 20%.

This role is part of Texas Oncology’s growing Transformation Office, which partners across the organization to deliver high impact initiatives and build strong, repeatable change management capabilities. As transformation efforts continue to scale, the Senior Change Management Specialist plays a critical role in shaping how change is planned, delivered, and sustained at Texas Oncology. This individual will lead endtoend change management efforts across multiple concurrent initiatives, working closely with clinical, operational, and technology leaders to ensure readiness, alignment, and adoption. The role requires a strong consulting mindset, comfort operating in a complex, matrixed environment, and the ability to influence leaders without direct authority.

What does this position do?

Under general supervision, the Senior Change Management Specialist helps improve patient, provider, and staff experience through a variety of technology initiatives. The role is responsible for designing and executing change management strategies to drive adoption of transformation change initiatives. The role also leads complex change management initiatives in accordance with Texas Oncology and external best practices while working collaboratively with the team.

Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include Code of Ethics and Business Standards, and US Oncology's Shared Values.

Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Enterprise Change Leadership

  • Lead end to end change management strategies for complex, highimpact initiatives, from early discovery through sustainment
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, coaching them on their role in leading and sustaining change
  • Partner with initiative and portfolio leaders to assess organizational readiness, risk, and adoption across multiple initiatives
  • Translate change management principles into practical, actionable guidance leaders can use with their teams

Change Strategy & Execution

  • Design and execute integrated change management plans, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and reinforcement
  • Develop compelling cases for change that align initiative goals with enterprise strategy and local impact
  • Tailor change approaches to different audiences, ensuring relevance across clinical, operational, and corporate teams
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, product teams, and business partners to align change activities with delivery timelines

Change Saturation & Readiness

  • Assess cumulative change impacts across initiatives to identify risks related to timing, sequencing, and organizational capacity
  • Design and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data—including readiness assessments / surveys, feedback, and adoption metrics—to inform change strategy, mitigate risk, and support leadership decision making
  • Provide datadriven insights to leaders to support prioritization, decision making, and course correction

Influence & Collaboration

  • Lead change efforts in a complex, matrixed environment—partnering across functions without direct authority
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Influence outcomes through strong listening skills, facilitation, and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations

Capability Building

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of enterprise change management standards, tools, and best practices
  • Support the continued growth and maturity of the Transformation Office and its change management capability
  • Model a people-centered, data informed approach to change across the organization

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following background and experience:  

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience leading change management efforts for largescale, complex transformations
  • Demonstrated experience designing and executing end-to-end change strategies that drive adoption and sustained behavior change
  • Strong consulting skills, including the ability to assess needs, influence stakeholders, and deliver practical solutions
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in fast paced, ambiguous, and evolving environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Change Management certification (Prosci, CCMP, or similar)
  • Experience supporting healthcare, clinical, or highly regulated environments
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and executive stakeholders
