Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have everything they need for an enjoyable meal.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Willingness to help out in the kitchen or other areas as needed to support team operations.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
