About the role

Our Budtenders are responsible for cash transactions and handling, providing exceptional customer service and knowledge to each customer while assisting. Must be obtainable to listen well and communicate effectively with various individuals and personalities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining a clean, tidy, safe and inviting store environment at all times
• Ensure the sales floor is fully stocked
• Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies, guidelines and procedures.
• Answering the phone positively and helpfully
• Positively Greeting and providing an inviting farewell to walk-in customers and visitors
• Accurately use and maintain the Point Of Sale (POS) system
• Thorough and accurate cash handling and inventory
• Accurate and timely data entry of customer profiles
• Verifying customer's valid ID before finalizing transaction
• Maintain Store organization and cleanliness
• Perform daily duties (including opening and closing tasks) abiding by company guidelines and procedures

SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:

• Exceptional Customer Service skills
• Desire and passion to gain and maintain knowledge products offered
• Knowledge of basic computer skills, Point of Sale software and cash management
• Strong attention to details and a team-player mentality
• Outgoing and positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 years customer service experience preferred
• 2 years cash handling experience preferred
• 21 years of age
• Must be on time and ready to work when scheduled
• Must be able to pass a state background check

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent minimum
• Previous retail experience preferred

REQUIREMENTS:

• Reliable Transportation to both locations
• 21 years of age
• Cannabis knowledge is preferred**
• Budtender certification encouraged
• Must be able to able to work 8-10 hours a day
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
• Must have a Valid Texas Drivers license and have a clear driving record
• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check

Job Types: Part-time
Pay: Experience based

Schedule:

• 8-10 hour shifts
• Monday to Saturday (Some Sundays)
• Weekend availability

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
