Store Manager – The UPS Store
Job Type: Full-Time / Store Manager
Pay: $10.00–$10.50 per hour during training period. Manager pay will be discussed once fully capable of independently running the store and based on qualifications/experience (DOQ).
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- Rotational Saturdays
- Rotational Sundays
- Day Shift / All Shifts
Start Date:
Official position begins August 1st. Until then, selected candidate will shadow the current Store Manager for training.
PLEASE NOTE:
No phone calls to the store regarding hiring. Hiring is not handled at the store level.
About the Position
We are seeking a motivated individual with previous experience in the The UPS Store network. The Store Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while overseeing daily store operations and assisting customers with shipping, printing, mailbox services, and other business solutions.
The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, customer-focused, and capable of learning all aspects of store operations quickly.
Please note: UPS Store locations are independently owned and operated franchises. This is not a position with UPS and this location does not hire for warehouse or driving positions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and phone inquiries
- Process shipments accurately and efficiently
- Assist customers with printing, faxing, laminating, binding, and other business services
- Learn and confidently explain all products and services offered
- Recommend best-value solutions based on customer needs
- Operate POS systems, shipping software, and store equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support and train team members when needed
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and leadership
Qualifications
- Previous The UPS Store experience preferred
- Strong computer and internet skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Friendly, professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Fast learner willing to learn all areas of the business
