Store Manager (Full-Time)

The UPS Store is much more than a shipping store. We provide shipping, professional packing, printing, mailbox services, freight solutions, notary services, and business support to individuals and small businesses throughout our community.
We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Store Manager who enjoys leading people, solving problems, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving business results.
This position is ideal for someone who takes ownership, leads by example, and wants to build a long-term career with a growing organization operating multiple locations across Nebraska.
What You'll Do
As Store Manager, you will oversee the daily operation of the center while leading your team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Your responsibilities include:
Leadership
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members
- Build a positive, professional, and accountable workplace
- Create employee schedules
- Delegate responsibilities and monitor performance
- Conduct coaching and performance discussions
- Lead by example in customer service and professionalism
Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Resolve customer concerns professionally
- Build long-term relationships with local businesses
- Ensure every customer receives an outstanding experience
Store Operations
- Open and close the store
- Manage daily cash reconciliation
- Maintain inventory and order supplies
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and fully operational
- Coordinate equipment maintenance when necessary
- Monitor productivity and workflow
Shipping & Packing
- Process domestic and international shipments
- Assist customers in selecting the best shipping solutions
- Supervise professional packing of fragile, valuable, and oversized items
- Develop freight shipping opportunities
Printing & Business Services
A major part of this position is growing our print business.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with customers on print projects
- Managing production schedules
- Ensuring print quality and deadlines
- Promoting print services to local businesses
- Assisting with large commercial print orders
- Supervising finishing work, including laminating, binding, cutting, folding, and packaging
Mailbox & Notary Services
- Supervise mailbox operations
- Assist with mailbox sales
- Perform notary services or obtain a Nebraska Notary commission (company assistance available)
- Ensure all procedures comply with company standards
Sales & Business Development
- Identify opportunities to increase sales
- Promote printing, mailbox, freight, and business services
- Build relationships with local businesses
- Help grow the overall performance of the center

Preferred Qualifications

Previous The UPS Store experience is a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stand and move throughout the workday
- Ability to perform shipping, packing, printing, and retail operations

- Full-time
