The Sales Associate will play a vital role in maintaining an organized store environment through merchandising and stocking duties.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide professional assistance with products and services
- Process shipments accurately using UPS systems, including weighing and labeling packages
- Operate POS systems efficiently for transactions including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Assist with packing items, including fragile or oversized goods
- Operate cash registers and credit card machines
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization
- Restock shelves and manage inventory
- Provide pricing information and promote additional services
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Support opening and closing procedures
Requirements
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations
- Strong communication skills, including effective phone etiquette.
- Computer proficiency.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Ability to upsell products while maintaining a positive shopping experience
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
