Job Description

The Retail Sales Associate delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment; operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The Sales Associate advises our customers on our array of products, services, and best-value options.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
• Takes ownership of customers’ packing, shipping, and/or print problems and offers viable solutions
• Packages shipments for safe arrival, including assembling stock boxes, building custom boxes, and properly cushioning contents
• Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership
• Helps with other Center functions as needed, such as faxing, copying, laminating, and binding
• Maintains strong attention to detail when proofing all transactions and materials
• Collaborate with management to stay updated on new products, services, and policies
• Expertly operates POS System
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment
• May open and/or close the store and perform end-of-day close processes
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required
• Retail experience
• Good communication skills
• Friendly and genuinely helpful conduct with a professional appearance
• Must be practical, flexible, action oriented, passionate, team player
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites, a major plus
• Prompt, dependable, and accountable
• Able to lift 40 pounds
