Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or POS system.
- Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges while maintaining accurate records.
- Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is organized and displayed attractively.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Promote and sell products to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and work areas.
- Follow all SOP's and guidelines.
- Able to follow directions, spoken and written.
- Ask questions.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing an excellent shopping experience.
- Experience in cash handling, retail sales, or similar environments is preferred.
- Proficiency with cash registers and POS systems.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer groups.
- Strong selling skills to promote products effectively.
- Attention to detail in stocking merchandise, processing transactions and cleaning.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- 4 plus years experience with computers, typing, emails and printing.
- Bilingual Fluent in Spanish.
