Position Summary
The Store Associate is responsible for opening the store, providing excellent customer service, and assisting customers with shipping, packing, printing, mailbox services, and other business solutions. This role requires someone who is dependable, organized, and enjoys interacting with customers.
This position is ideal for someone who likes variety—every day brings different customers and different projects.
Responsibilities
Opening Duties
- Open the store on time following opening procedures
- Prepare registers and workstations
- Ensure printers, copiers, and shipping stations are ready
- Restock shipping and office supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and professional store appearance
Customer Service
- Greet every customer in a friendly and professional manner
- Recommend appropriate shipping, packing, and printing solutions
- Answer customer questions about products and services
- Process transactions accurately
- Answer incoming phone calls
Shipping & Packing
- Process UPS shipments and other carrier services
- Pack customer items safely and professionally
- Recommend appropriate packaging materials
- Explain shipping options and delivery times
Printing Services
- Assist customers with print orders
- Operate copiers and digital print equipment
- Perform basic finishing such as cutting, laminating, binding, folding, and stapling
- Coordinate larger print jobs with the production team
Store Operations
- Maintain inventory of retail and shipping supplies
- Restock shelves and displays
- Keep the store clean and organized
- Follow company procedures and security policies
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience
- UPS Store experience
- Shipping or logistics experience
- Basic printing or copy center experience
- Sales experience
- Should be able to get Notary License in 30 Days. We will pay the Notary fee.
(Experience is preferred but not required. We provide comprehensive training.)
Pay: $13.50 - $16.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
