We are hiring for The UPS Store (#7007 ). 2800 N. Lombard St. and The UPS Store (#6227 ). 3519 NE 15th Ave. Portland
Responsibilities:
Greet customers in a friendly manner; determine customer needs while looking for opportunities to exceed expectations.
- Be knowledgeable of products and services offered and promote them to customers.
- Operate POS, Printing machines, Copiers, fax machines, binding equipment and other office machines in a safe, efficient and productive manner.
- Receive, sort and place mail in mailboxes accurately.
- Pack contents for shipping using established procedures and products (we provide training).
- Receive and process packages for shipping, including lifting and weighing packages and generating labels.
- Assist in merchandising the store, including - stocking shelves, ensuring clean and orderly appearance of product, etc.
- General housekeeping duties.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
Experience:
We are looking to enthusiastic, energetic individuals who love to interact with customers and help them with their needs. Prior Customer service experience in a retail setting is a plus
- Point of Sale ("POS") and computer experience highly desirable.
- Handling Print production / Graphic design
- Previous experience working in UPS store will be a huge PLUS
