Job Description:

This job is specifically for Print Production with design and layout.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented print specialist to join our team. As a print specialist, you will be responsible for operating and helping to maintain both small and large format digital print and finishing equipment. We are a high-volume The UPS Store print location and will need someone who can handle multiple overlapping production tasks while keeping an emphasis speedy and accurate job turnarounds. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth.

Ideal Qualifications:

- Previous experience operating printing equipment is preferred

- Knowledge of digital printing processes and techniques

- Ability to sort, plan and execute productions from email submission to finishing & being able to interact with the client/customer in a friendly, knowledgeable way

- Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suites big 3, Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to printing equipment

Duties:

- Operate and maintain printing equipment such as Digital Print machines, and finishing equipment.

- Knowledge in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite

- Set up and adjust machines for each print job, ensuring accurate color reproduction and print quality

- Prepare and load materials onto machines, such as pretreat, paper, ink, and files

- Monitor the printing process to ensure proper ink coverage, registration, and overall print quality

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the printing process

- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance

Location:

- The UPS Store 2193 : 19701 Bethel Church Rd Ste 103, Cornelius, NC 28031

- Store Hours:

- Monday to Friday: 8a – 7p

- Saturdays: 9a – 4:00p

- Sundays: 11a – 4:00p

Schedule:

Cornelius: 10a-6:00p M-F

Closed all federal Holidays

Pay:

- Pay is every 2 weeks. The week is Sunday to Saturday.

- Experience dependent $15-$20 starting pay
